Jose Francisco
Social Media Coordinator
Jose is a passionate mental health advocate dedicated to fostering wellness and reducing stigma. Equipped with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Calgary, he actively champions mental health literacy through education and support. Jose is trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) and QPR Suicide Prevention, demonstrating his commitment to crisis intervention.
As a student, Jose spearheaded an impactful initiative, coordinating over 20 volunteers to deliver wellness presentations to more than 4,000 fellow students. His leadership and advocacy were further recognized when he was invited as a guest speaker at the University of Calgary’s Break the Stigma Summit, where he shared valuable mental health strategies.
