Fees for psychological services are set in accordance to the guidelines as set by the provincial psychological associations. For the most up to date rate, please contact the clinic. Please note that the rate is set per therapeutic hour (50 minutes). This amount will be charged on a prorated basis at one-fifth the hourly rate in 10-minute increments for other professional services. These services can include but are not limited to: report writing, letters, form completion, phone calls, and attendance at meetings or consultations with other professionals.

Fees for psychological services are not currently covered by your provincial health plan (For example, Alberta Health Care, Medical Services Plan (MSP) in British Columbia, and Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) do not cover private psychological services).

Insurance Coverage 

Most extended health insurance plans reimburse all or a portion of our fees. Some employers offer additional support in the form of Health Spending Accounts, Wellness Accounts, and Employee Assistance Programs. In order to obtain updated and accurate information about your coverage for psychological services, please contact your insurance provider or your employer’s Human Resources prior to booking services.  

Tax Deductible Medical Expenses

You may also be able to claim the non-reimbursed fees not covered by your extended health insurance as medical expenses on your income tax returns. Please consult your accountant. For further information about tax deductible medical expenses, you can also refer to the Canada Revenue Agency website.

cancellation policy

In order to provide psychological services in a timely manner and honor our clients’ time, please note the following cancellation policy. If you are unable to attend an appointment, please contact us promptly. We require 48 hours notice so your appointment can be reallocated to someone else. Please be mindful that our hours of operation is 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. No shows and late cancellations (those made with less than 48 hours notice) will incur the full fee. If you are late to your appointment, your appointment will still end at the scheduled time.

payment options

Payments can be made by e-transfer, credit card or cheque prior to the session. Please note that credit card transactions incur an
additional 3% administration fee.  An electronic invoice will be generated at the end of your session. You will receive an electronic receipt once payment has been processed. You may wish to use the receipt for reimbursement from your insurance provider.
